This mum is a genius
One mum has found the ultimate hack for keeping the chaos to a minimum in a busy household.
This mum of seven took to Facebook to share her tip for getting the kids out the door every morning on time and it’s honestly brilliant.
The post shared by Mum Advice reads:
“Wanted to share this idea. As a mum of 7 mornings can be hectic to say least an from tomorrow ill have 5 in primary an playschool so got this idea. 5 drawer tower for each child.
Sunday night put socks and pants in each drawer. PE kit in whatever day it is. An uniform in each. I’ve 3 uniforms each so on Tuesday I can wash an iron previous two an put in Thursday and Friday drawers. Going to try it an see if it helps a bit. Too many last minute dashs looking for stuff.”
I only have two kids but that doesn’t mean there aren’t always missing shoes and lunchboxes every morning.
Having everything stored in one place is a great idea and I think it could work for everyone in the family, not just the kids.
There’s no doubt this mum will help make many family’s lives easier with her genius hack.
The number of mornings I’ve wandered around for ages looking for my keys when if I just left them in the same place every night I would be able to find them easy peasy.
A trip to IKEA might be in order to give this mum’s hack a try.
What do you think? Would this help get your kids ready in the morning?
