Pop star Jessie J has extended her gratitude to her fans after she recently shared that she
experienced pregnancy loss.
Earlier this month,
Jessie took to social media to share the devastating news that she had a miscarriage. The singer explained that when she attended her third scan appointment, the doctors were not able to find a heartbeat.
Taking to her
Instagram this morning, the Price Tag singer reached out to all those who showed her support after she shared her news.
Jessie wrote: "Thank you to everyone who has and continues to send texts/dms/FaceTimes/calls.
"Even if I don't always answer or reply, please know I see you and I feel you. Reading 'I love you', 'I'm here for you', has been so comforting.
"Thank you for being kind, patient and understanding, Thank you for openly just loving and supporting me and holding me up."
Jessie then thanked her older sister, who she said "dropped everything" to be by her side.

Over on her grid, Jessie opened up about going into "work mode" after losing her baby.
She said: "It's safe to say I sometimes pour more energy into creating an unhealthy process of my own pain in front of a camera, than I do acknowledging it behind one in real time."
She went on to say: "Truth is, I just needed to fucking cry and fall into someone's arms and sob. But at the time I was alone. I hadn't processed anything. Nor did I have any idea what I was about to go through not just emotionally but physically after this show."
Jessie added: "I truly now understand why women so often talk about the want and need for miscarriage to be openly spoken about more."
She later said: "I have never experienced physical pain and trauma or felt loneliness like it. This has changed me forever. In the most heartbreaking but beautiful way. It's put life into perspective in a way nothing else ever has."
Jessie then sent solidarity to anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss. She wrote: "You are allowed to cry. Allowed to be weak. Allowed to be exhausted from the pain and the bleeding and the grief that barely has space to exist. You are allowed to do this however YOU need to."
