Responding under the post, the comedian wrote: "Well looking at this was a big mistake. Yikes, was just having a laugh guys. No need to be so personal. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. It was fun to do. Blimey."
Both Hackett and Widdicombe also came to Walsh's defence in the comments section.
Beckett took the opportunity to remind users that it was a comedy podcast, while Widdicombe wrote: "I would like to remind everyone that this isn't Twitter, it's usually very nice on here."
