The mum-of-three says she’s open with her kids about her health.

Reality star Jenelle Evans has revealed she’s been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after enduring chronic pain for years.

Jenelle, who starred on the MTV shows 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, spoke about her experience with the condition to E! News.

“For as long as I can remember, I would get extremely bad tension headaches and full body aches — like I had the flu, but was not sick,” she said.

“My entire body gets in so much pain and sometimes I lay in bed and cry. [For] a long time, no one believed my symptoms until I got a second opinion from a new neurologist.”

According to the HSE, fibromyalgia is an incurable condition that causes widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue and issues with sleep, memory and mood.

Celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Morgan Freeman and Sinéad O’Connor suffer with the condition.

Jenelle, now 30, told the outlet that “living life every day is challenging,” because she only has a “little bit” of energy.

“I now know why my body is acting the way it does and it explains a lot. I never knew what fibromyalgia was until my doctor diagnosed me,” she continued. “I am now researching foods to stay away from, and foods that are beneficial for my condition.”

The mum-of-three added that she has “private talks” with her kids – sons Jace, 12, Kaiser, 7, and daughter Ensley, 5 – about her health so that they don’t worry about her.

“I want my kids to know that some days are good and some days are bad with fibromyalgia. Please have patience with me on my bad days and I promise to make it up to you on my good days,” she shared, adding: “Some days won’t be good but I’ll get through it.”
