A whole new generation of Swifties is born!

Taylor Swift celebrated her 34th birthday last week on December 13th.

Much like any other Taylor-related moment, the entire world acted accordingly – including the hospital the singer was born at.

Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania, decided to mark the day by gifting each newborn a friendship bracelet identical to the ones exchanged during the ‘Eras Tour’.

In a post uploaded to Instagram by members of staff at the hospital, they said:

“Today, we are handing our Eras Tour-like friendship bracelets for all the babies born here at Reading Hospital on Taylor Swift’s birthday.”

In the clip, new mums can be seen wearing a variety of colourful bracelets, with sweet messages like ‘Mom,’ ‘Loved,’ ‘Believe,’ ‘Fierce,’ and ‘Newborn Era,’ as well as many slogans.

“In celebration of Berks County native Taylor Swift’s birthday, our babies are marking their newborn era today with adorable friendship bracelets from our staff!” the caption reads.

“Here’s to celebrating the spirit of connection and the beginning of many cherished bonds among our newest stars.”

The friendship bracelet trend was seen happening throughout the Eras Tour as a tribute to one song from Taylor’s ‘Midnights’ album, ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid.’

Swifties took lyrics from the song as a direct order from the singer: “So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”

This saw them beading their bracelets to feature song titles, lyrics, references, and Easter eggs from the songstress’ life.

The aim of this trend was to swap homemade bracelets with other fans who had created wristband tributes attending the shows, and therefore, fostering friendships over their shared love of the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer.
