She’s officially gone to the dark side – and it looks incredible.
It’s been 18 months since we bid farewell to two of our all-time favourite Walford residents, Roxy and Ronnie Mitchell.
The fiery sisters provided viewers with plenty of drama over almost a decade on EastEnders and went out in suitably sensational fashion, drowning in a swimming pool.
Samantha Womack, who played Ronnie, is set to appear in the play The Girl on The Train and has done away with her trademark blonde hair for the role.
Debuting her new brunette locks over the weekend, Samantha tweeted that “Girl on the train is darker…”

Samantha has just started rehearsals for the play, a stage adaptation of the hit book by Paula Hawkins which is set to open early next year.
She’ll be in the role of Rachel, who was played by Emily Blunt in the film version of the novel.
She played Morticia Addams in the stage version of The Addams Family earlier this year.
Samantha’s former on-screen sister Rita Simons has also been treading the boards since exiting the soap last year.
Rita, who played Roxy, appeared in Legally Blonde: The Musical last year and this year.
