"Front doors are the first thing potential buyers see and first impressions really do count, so I’m a huge advocate of making them look brilliant when preparing a home for sale," Sarah Beeny told the Independent.
She reckons that there are two ways you can go - bold and trendy colours or classic, more muted tones. She says that bright yellow, pink and turquoise are all very on-trend and will give a house the 'wow' factor.
But if you're living in a more traditional area or country village, best to stick to colours like deep blue, dark grey and sage green.
