Barry Keoghan devastated after airline loses his luggage on way to Oscars
The Oscars are on Sunday.
Barry Keoghan has called out British Airways after his luggage was lost only days before the Oscars.
The Dubliner has criticised the airline for their "bad customer service" after they lost his suitcase on the way to Los Angeles ahead of the Academy Awards.
Now deleted, the actor tweeted about his bad experience, writing: "Lost my suitcase with @British_Airways and they can’t seem to be any way helpful in one bit.”
The dad revealed his case was full of sentimental belongings.
“Here in LA for Oscars and had tons of sentimental stuff I wanted to wear and bring with me.”
“Such bad customer service. Sent me to LAX to tell me they can’t help me. Tut tut.”
The Irish actor will attend the Oscars this weekend.
Barry was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Dominic in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin. His co-star Brendan Gleeson joins him in the category, along with Ke Huy Quan for Everything, Everywhere All At Once, Eddie Redmayne for The Good Nurse, Albrecht Schuch for All Quiet on the Western Front and Michael Ward for Empire of Light.
Barry took to Instagram to celebrate his nomination, which he dedicated to his son Brando.
"This one's for you Brando," he wrote. "Daddy loves you."
Barry and his partner Alyson Sandro welcomed their first child together last August.
The actor announced their joyous news on Instagram.
He posted a video of a bouquet of flowers in his partner's hospital room. The stunning blooms were sent from the team at Gucci. The team also sent the new parents a card, congratulating them on the arrival of their firstborn.
Barry zoomed in on the card, which read: "Dear Barry and Alyson, Wishing you both a huge congratulations on the birth of your newborn baby! From all your friends at Gucci xx"
