Something worth noting.
So I just got the dreaded email.
My flight to Edinburgh on Friday has been cancelled due to Ryanair strikes.
The airline has been forced to cancel 24 flights, as a quarter of their pilots are set to strike.
Great. Ideal. Living for the weekend now, so I am.
And while the airline do offer a full refund, there is one thing that I was NOT aware of.
How do I actually go about getting my money back?
So first thing worth noting is that when you have a cancelled Ryanair flight, you have options.
Option 1: Apply for a refund.
If you wish to cancel your reservation and claim a full refund of the unused flights click here and enter your booking details.
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days back to the form of payment used for the original booking.
Option 2: Change your cancelled flight.
If you want to move your flight booking, free of charge you can do by clicking “Change Flight” to transfer your booking online.
Option 3: Re-Route option.
If you require rerouting options, like departing or arriving from another airport by Ryanair or an alternative airline, train, bus, or car hire, you have to contact their Customer Service team or go to the airport ticket desk.
Let me know how you get on!
