If you loved Netflix' The Christmas Chronicles (which was released back in 2018), you will no doubt get excited to hear that the sequel is out this year – and will be released on Netflix in November.
The new film, which is also directed by Home Alone director Chris Columbus, sees Kurt Russell return as Santa Claus, with his real-life partner, Goldie Hawn, still playing the part of his on-screen wife, Mrs Claus.
Set two years after the first movie, the new Netflix original sees Santa Claus reunited with Kate following their last holiday Christmas Eve adventure.
However, this time, Kate is not at home in her own house, but on holidays in Mexico with her mum, her mum's new boyfriend, and the boyfriend's son, Jack.
When she finds herself having a miserable time in Cancun on the blended family holidays, Kate decides to run away – however, things don't go exactly to plan, and once more, the young Kate finds herself on a bit of a crazy adventure with Santa Claus, this time to try to save the North Pole from a villain named Belsnickel.
