Some Tweeters accused her of being entitled, while others pointed out that Wilde was making assumptions about people's health.
Of course some sensible soul tried to point out that surely statistically speaking SOMEONE on the carriage would've been in a position health-wise to offer the heavily pregnant mama their seat, but this was quickly shouted down by the Perfect People of Twitter.
As a person who is currently intensely pregnant myself, personally I identify with her irritation – but then again I am severely hormonal and haven't slept in weeks due to preggo insomnia. I'm leaning towards attacking the next person who doesn't understand my stuggles, so perhaps I'm not the best judge of what's acceptable behaviour right now.
Did YOU find people offering up their seats when you were pregnant?
What do you think of Wilde's tweet? Typical Twitter sh*t fit over nothing or should pregnant people just 'shut up and put up' when it comes to seat-hoggers on public transport?
