Four dogs were taken by officers..
A four-year-old girl was rushed to hospital following an attack by a pack of “dangerously owned” dogs.
Three people were arrested yesterday on suspicion of owning dangerous dogs and a total of four were taken by officers.
The unnamed girl was brought to a Manchester A&E by ambulance after the incident and suffered significant injuries.
It’s said that the young girl remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Officers told the Mirror: “Shortly before 2.40pm yesterday, police were called to a report of a child who had suffered injuries caused by dogs at an address on Ackers Lane, Carrington.
“The girl was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition. Four dogs were seized by officers and have been taken away by specialist partners.”
This incident comes two months after Alice Stones was mauled to death by a dog in her back garden in Milton Keynes. She was tragically killed by her family’s pet dog in January.
In a separate experience, a grandmother and her 12-year-old grandson were hurt after being attacked by a dog at a UK holiday park. That happened in February of this year.
The woman told Cornwall Live: “My grandson had picked me a stick that day because I’ve got arthritis in my knee and I’m waiting for an operation which has been cancelled.
“All of a sudden we looked up and this dog came towards us and he went straight for Zac.”
Certainly a very scary experience.
