Jack Osbourne has shared that his daughter Maple prefers to love her Grandfather Ozzy Osbourne from a distance.
While 15-month-old Maple loves her Grandpa, she doesn’t quite know what to make of him when they’re face-to-face yet.
On the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, 74, pleaded with his son to ‘bring the grandkids to come see me!’
To this, Jack, 37, replied: I f***ing will. She’s scared of you IRL [in real life],” he revealed, referring to his and his wife Aree Gearheart’s youngest child Maple.
Jack then informed his sister Kelly about a recent moment where Maple had a heartwarming reaction to one of Ozzy’s songs.
“You haven’t seen the new video, where she’s pointing,” he said to his sister.
“We put on ‘Crazy Train’, like an actual performance. She does the ‘I, I, I,’ but she’s pointing at the TV going ‘Papa, Papa, Papa, Papa, Papa’, just on repeat like a broken record.”
In the video, Maple is visibly excited by her grandad’s music and watching him perform with his band.
She repeatedly calls out, ‘Papa,’ over and over while pointing at the TV any time Grandpa Ozzy appears on screen.
“Maple thinks she’s getting a private performance from Papa,” Jack captioned the video.
He added that Maple’s joy doesn’t extend to face-to-face meetings with her grandfather just yet.
“In real life when she sees him and she’s like, ‘Oh f***, there he is’.”
Jack also shares daughters Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose, and Minnie Theodora with his ex-wife Lisa Stella.
