Huge congratulations are in order for Jake Quickenden and his wife, Sophie!
Former X Factor contestant, Jake Quickenden, has welcomed his second child after his wife Sophie gave birth on Wednesday.
The former I’m A Celebrity contestant posted a lovely video in the aftermath of his new son Kit’s birth, praising Sophie for being ‘incredible’.
Taking to Instagram, Jake wrote: “Welcome to world little one. Kit Quickenden 6lb 13oz.
“Born 08/01/25 – As a dad I just want to say Sophie was incredible, thank you for delivering Kit and being so amazing.”
The couple announced their second pregnancy in the summer and said it was after “a long time of trying.”
Jake revealed: “WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five. We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world.
“We are super excited. Can’t wait to live off 2 hours sleep again . Have a lovely Sunday.”
Jake became a household name when he took part in the X Factor back in 2012, but only made it as far as the judges’ houses stage.
He then came back to the show in 2014, and this time he made it to the live shows where he made it to week three.
After leaving the show once again, he was brought on as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, where he came runner-up and has since been working as a presenter and an influencer in the UK.
