He passed away a year ago.
Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey has opened up on the heartbreaking moment she had to tell her children that their father had died.
The Wanted singer passed away last year on March 30th at the age of 33 following a battle with terminal brain cancer.
The couple had been married since 2018 and shared two children together, three-year-old Aurelia and two-year-old Bodhi.
Speaking with The Sun, Kelsey recalled the moment she told her children that Tom had passed.
She told her children that the angels came to take their dad.
“The day he was going to die I said to her (Aurelia), ‘I am going to the hospice to see Dad because I have got to make sure the angels take him today’.”
She continued, “We came back in the evening, and in the morning I said, ‘Daddy isn’t here anymore. He is in the sky with the angels and the butterflies’. They accepted it but now we get a lot of questions.”

“Aurelia will ask, ‘Why has my best friend got a dad and I haven’t got a dad any more?’ I say, ‘You do have a dad, he is not here’.”
Marking Tom’s one year anniversary, Kelsey shared a photo of her and Tom looking as happy as ever and captioned it: “One year without you. forever my soul mate.”
Speaking recently about how her children are coping with the loss of their father at such a young age, Kelsey said that the road ahead will not be an easy one for them.
She told OK! Magazine: “I felt like we were put on the same team for a reason because I was talking to him about where his daughter was at now.
“My kids are going to be at that stage after losing their dad and we spoke about the road ahead, like the kids going to school.
“I can’t talk to everyone about that because they don’t know what I’ve been through or what I am going through. But he actually understood it all and how I felt. It was tough.”
