The sisters are mending their relationship.

Kourtney and Kim Kardashian may disagree on certain things, but they definitely both agree that navigating the journey of co-parenting isn’t always a walk in the park.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 43, opens up about how her eldest daughter, North West, prefers to spend time with her father, Kanye West.

The media mogul shares four children with the rapper: North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

Speaking to her older sister Kourtney, 44, the SKIMS founder details a pattern that emerges any time North spends time with her dad at this apartment.

“She’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.'”

“And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.'”

Kourtney, who shares three children with her ex, Scott Disick, also has the same experiences with their kids, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8.

The Poosh founder, who is expecting her first child with husband Travis Barker, explained to Kim that she gets the same rhetoric when her three kids spend time at their dad’s house and feels she knows why.

“They do that at Scott’s too. ‘Dad has the best house; your house sucks. He has the best house. It’s not super big; the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.”

However, after spending some quality one-on-one time with North, Kim took note of her elder sister’s words.

“Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet,” Kim shared in a confessional. “I’m supposed to learn even more about patience—she teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”

Despite their recent sister fights, the two seem to lean on each other, especially when it comes to motherhood, with Kim admitting she always turns to her big sister in this regard.

Earlier this year, Kim appeared on an episode of On Purpose with Jay Shetty and opened up about what she’s learned from becoming a parent.

While the job comes with struggles and challenges, it’s one of her many roles that she wouldn’t change for the world.

“It is the most rewarding job in the entire world. There is nothing that can prepare you. I don’t care how long you wait. I don’t care what you’re waiting for. You are never prepared.”

“You will figure it out, and it will make you so proud of yourself that you figured it out. And that you got through the day.”
