Irish influencer, Louise Cooney, has embraced this beautiful tradition and shared the timeless piece of jewellery she bought after she and her partner, Mark, welcomed their first child.
The CLOO Active founder gave birth to their son, Jude, in November 2023 and has documented snippets of the first months of his life online with her 240,000 followers.
The new mum took to her Instagram story for a Q&A to share the answer to one follower and an expectant parent’s question who was looking for inspiration.
“Can you show us what you got to mark Jude’s birth? I’m looking for ideas,” they asked.
Louise shared a clip of a dainty and elegant gold infinity ring circled with diamonds.
“Of course, I got this ring. I wanted something timeless that I’ll have forever .. I love it,” the fashion content creator wrote while sharing where she purchased it.
“Even just the whole experience was so lovely! I love investing in jewellery with meaning behind it, any of my good bits have a special story behind them.”
The couple welcomed their son on November 7th after announcing they were expecting their first child together last May.
“You have changed our world forever. we are so in love,” the announcement post read.
