The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer has four children.
Peter Andre has opened up about the strict parenting approach he takes with his eldest children, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Price.
The father-of-four shares son Junior, 18, and daughter, Princess, 16, with the former glamour model, as well as two younger children, Amelia, 10, and Theo, 6, with his wife Emily.
The couple are currently expecting their third child.
However, as his oldest children have grown up, he has learned a thing or two about being a dad.
The star revealed in his for New! magazine column that he is really ‘protective over Princess’.
“… But the one thing I’ve learnt as my kids get older is that I need to treat them equally and can’t be stricter with one,” he added.
“Any rule that applies to Princess applies to Junior, and I always say to them that they’re role models for their younger siblings.”
Peter’s confessions come following backlash that his daughter was hosting a series of make-up masterclasses in the UK with her mum, with social media users speculating that the 16-year-old was missing school.
However, many fans came to the defence of the mother-daughter duo, clarifying that Princess has finished school and is now in college.
Peter and his wife, who works as an NHS worker, are due to welcome their third child in 2024.
The pair, who married in 2015 after four years of dating, announced the good news back in October, writing:
“We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we.”
