Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have secretly visited Queen Elizabeth.

The couple was travelling out to The Netherlands for the Invictus Games but stopped in London to see their family.

It is believed they spent time with Her Majesty as well as Harry’s father, Prince Charles.

Harry’s spokesperson confirmed the pair visited his grandmother before leaving for The Netherlands.

They confirmed that both Harry and Meghan spent time with Queen Elizabeth on Thursday morning.

It is not clear if he met with his brother Prince William.

This is the first time Prince Harry and Meghan have been in the UK together since they stepped down as working royals.

Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in January 2020.

The move caused major tension and divide between the family and damaged Harry’s relationship with his brother and father.

However, the dad-of-two firmly stands by his decision after realising he was “trapped” in the firm.

Prince Harry hoped to bring his son and daughter-Archie and Lilibet- to his homeland but believes it isn’t safe for them.

The Duke’s legal representative said it is not possible for the father to bring his family to England because of threats to their safety.

Harry and Meghan’s surprise visit comes just hours after Queen Elizabeth cancelled more royal engagements.

The 95-year-old was due to attend Easter Sunday Service at St. Georgie’s Chapel in Windsor this weekend, but has pulled out.

It is believed the Queen is still suffering from the side effects of Covid-19. She recently said: “It does leave one very tired and exhausted doesn’t it, this horrible pandemic. It is not a nice result.”
