Princess Kate was all smiles in the beautiful family portrait

Prince William and Princess Kate have shared their family’s official Christmas portrait.

The royals shared the beautiful black-and-white photo on Instagram last night.

The photo was taken by photographer Josh Shinner.

He said it was an immense honour to take the family’s official portrait.

He shared, “It was such a pleasure to photograph The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family for the Christmas portrait this year.

“Without doubt one of the most relaxed and enjoyable sittings I’ve ever had, and I now have a whole new set of jokes that are right on my level thanks to the children…”

Fans of the royals couldn’t help but gush about the sweet portrait.

One said, “Gorgeous family, love the white shirt and jeans look. More like Diana than Charles. George looks so much like his grandmother.”

Another added, “The children look so grown up. Charlotte is image of her dad and Louis his mum.”

“I remember when all these babies were born! Look how grown they are,” another added.

One said, “It reminds me of those black and white shots of Princess Diana with William and Harry.”

The release of their Christmas portrait comes after the family attended Kate’s annual Christmas carol service.

The family was all smiles as they arrived at Westminster Abbey for the special event.

Kate praised everyone for taking part in such an important evening.

“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our special carol service, Together at Christmas.

“From the performers whose voices filled Westminster Abbey, to the early years workforce of carers, midwives, nurses and so many more who are not only making a difference to children today but also shaping a happier, healthier world in the future.”
