Sofia Richie Grainge is expecting a baby with her husband, Elliot Grainge
Sofia Richie Grainge has revealed she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Elliot Grainge.
The mum-to-be announced her news in the chicest way- during an interview with Vogue.
The 25-year-old model revealed she found out she was pregnant “very, very early”.
Sofia said she was only four weeks pregnant when she started to feel quite unwell. The model was attending fashion week in Milan, but thought nothing of it and presumed it was just jet lag.
Little did she know she was already one month pregnant with her first child.
She told Vogue: “I was about four weeks pregnant, I was on a trip to Milan for fashion week, and I was going to the Prada show.
“I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag,” Sofia said.
The model said her husband rushed to the drugstore to pick up more pregnancy tests after one came back positive.
She explained that she just wanted to be 100% sure so they did three more, and they were all positive.
“He’s such a sweet guy he always wants to protect my emotions and expectations, so he kind of sat me down and said: ‘If these are negative, don’t be upset. Our moment will come.’ When we turned over all three tests at the same time they were all positive.”
Sofia is due to give birth to her first child, a baby girl, later this year. She confirmed her baby will be a Gemini so her due date will be around the end of May or June.
