This comes after the couple reached an agreement for co-parenting their daughters.

Sophie Turner is reportedly dropping the ‘child abduction charges’ against her estranged husband, Joe Jonas.

In September, the actress filed the charges after alleging that her ex would not allow their two daughters, Willa and Delphine, to fly from the US to the UK and that he has withheld their passports.

In new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former couple’s attorneys have requested that the judge in their federal case dismiss the entire action.

The judge has yet to officially grant the dismissal.

It has been reported by the outlet that the pair reached a temporary child custody arrangement in October amid their divorce.

The publication adds that they are now at an amicable standing point, leading Sophie to drop the charges.

Following this mediation, the former couple’s children are also said to have spent the holidays back and forth between their mum and dad.

Joe filed for divorce from Sophie in September, with the couple later confirming the news on Instagram in a joint statement.

“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the statement read.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

The couple, who met on Instagram, first started dating in 2016. The Leave Before You Love Me singer then popped the question in 2017.

Joe and Sophie tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2019. The couple shares two daughters, whom they welcomed in July 2020 and July 2022.
