It’s a girl for Strictly professionals Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec
Strictly Come Dancing stars Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec have welcomed their first child together.
The new parents announced their joyous news on Instagram this morning.
The professional dancers confirmed they welcomed a baby on Friday, July 28th.
New mum Janette gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
The famous dancers even confirmed their little one’s name – Lyra Rose.
The parents posted a photo of Janette cradling their baby and new dad Aljaž grinning from ear to ear next to his family.
“Lyra Rose Skorjanec, July 28, 2023,” they wrote alongside the photo.
Fellow Strictly stars showered them with loving messages following the announcement.

EastEnders actor Jake Wood, who was partnered with Janette on the show, wrote: “Welcome to the world Lyra!!! You have chosen amazing parents.”
“So happy for you both. Sending love from the Jordans,” James Jordan also added.
“CONGRATULATIONS….little Lyra one thing is for sure, with your beautiful Mum and Dad you will be loved, loved and loved some more,” Lisa Riley shared.
Giovanna Fletcher also congratulated the pair, “Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! So happy for you guys!”
Janette and Aljaž revealed they were expecting their first child together in February. Their special news came after Aljaž stepped down as a professional dancer on Strictly.
