Ferne McCann has bravely opened up about suffering a miscarriage before her current pregnancy.
During her new show, First Time Mum, Ferne opened up about the heartbreaking loss.
Ferne and Lorri explained that everything came crashing down after their engagement. The couple decided to attend therapy together to help their relationship.
During their therapy session, which was recorded for the show, Ferne confirmed they lost a baby.
She said Lorri was her rock during the harrowing loss.
The mum said, “It’s the emotional support I’ve received from him in recent times.
“We’ve had a lot of stress as a couple and I feel hugely responsible for that.”
She continued, “He’s really shown up for me and just been there through the chaos and the absolute whirlwind.”

Ferne suffered a miscarriage at five weeks.
Ferne said she found out she was pregnant shortly after their engagement, but suffered a miscarriage early on.
“And then, very early on, I, erm, we had a miscarriage as well,” the mum said as she fought back the tears.
“When I was about five weeks, I started bleeding,” she shared.
Ferne said she searched the internet for alternative answers because she didn’t want to accept what was happening.
Ferne was heartbroken following the loss, but she said Lorri struggled to comprehend such a major loss.
He said, “To have something that we wanted so bad to be taken away from us, it was heartbreaking.”

Last month, Ferne confirmed she and Lorri were expecting a baby.
The reality star wrote, “We are having a baby.”
“We have been bursting at the seams with happiness & so excited to officially share our lovely news with you.”
This is Ferne’s first child with her fiancé Lorri Haines, but she is already a mum to a 5-year-old daughter Sunday.
Lorri is also a dad to a 6-year-old son named Noah.
