Reports say Harry and Meghan may have stopped filming for Netflix

“Harry and Meghan will never give up the opportunity or the responsibility to defend themselves and their children”

It’s been reported that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have stopped filming for Netflix.

Back in September 2020, the couple signed a five-year $100 million deal with Netflix to produce documentaries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.

Harry and Meghan have become household names in the US as well as in the UK but their popularity has plummeted significantly since their Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan was released and since Harry launched his book, Spare.

Both disclosed private information about Harry himself and about his family, which they were not impressed by.

Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines because they are allegedly having some marital problems.

It was reported that Harry hired new divorce lawyers and is living in hotel rooms.

However, broadcasters, royal experts and journalists are skeptical about the news as many think it was a calculated leak for more Netflix content.

Appearing on last night’s Talk TV Piers Morgan Uncensored was The Reputation Doctor, Mike Paul debating whether or not Harry and Meghan have actually “run out” of Netflix content.

He said: “Harry is upset and wants the world to know how the tabloids work in the UK.

“Their [Harry and Meghan’s] recent comments that came out saying ‘we’re done with it’ was really about a tabloid that dealt with race, children and various crisis issues that were tied to the Sussexes.

“Let’s not say that they’re not going to ever speak at all or come out of the house, that’s not what we’re talking about.”

Although he stayed very objective in the debate, Mike believes Harry and Meghan will not stop filming for Netflix.

@d_royal Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly going to “stop” making Netflix documentaries, publishing memoirs and taking part in interviews that reveal the inner workings of the Royal Family, because there is “nothing left to say”, a source has claimed. TalkTV’s Kevin O’Sullivan and Rosie Wright are joined by royal commentator Duncan Larcombe to discuss reports that the Sussexes’ are “stepping back” from the limelight. “The press is something he feels very deeply about and he actually believes it’s his life’s work to clean up the British media.”

Royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams also spoke on the show and said he doesn’t hold out much hope for the couple to ever step away from the cameras.

He said: “The ‘Silent Sussexes’ is an interesting concept but I don’t entertain much hope that we are going to get it because there are several issues involved here.

“The first one is regarding Spare [Harry’s book]. Issues like how he discussed losing his virginity and drugs, which is going to be raised in court in the US, so that will be reported on.

“The press is something he feels very deeply about and he actually believes it’s his life’s work to clean up the British media.”

Richard also reminded viewers that Harry and Meghan were awarded a four book deal with publishers so, why would they stop now?

During the conversation, Mike Paul said there are different types of books that could be written by the Sussexes. He also said all their productions don’t have to criticise Harry’s family.

He said: “Yes, there are different kinds of books that can be written, they can produce things for Netflix and be the stars of it.

“But, I will say this, I don’t think Harry and Meghan are ever going to give up the opportunity or the responsibility to defend themselves and their children if they’re personally attacked.

“I don’t think that is ever going to end.”
