Harry and Meghan have reportedly hired a nanny – and they have one request for her

Anna O'Rourke

Six weeks after becoming parents, it looks like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have finally hired a nanny.

The royal couple have reportedly chosen a British woman to help them take care of baby Archie.

Royal correspondent Kate Nicholl told ET that they had asked their new hire to sign an “extensive non-disclosure agreement”.

The move isn’t unusual; anyone who works for the royal family would be expected to commit to protecting their employer’s privacy.

Though the Duke and Duchess are hoping to keep details of the nanny under wraps, it’s understood that she won’t be permanently based at the family’s home at Frogmore Cottage and that she won’t be working weekends.

This marks a difference between the Sussexes and Prince William and Kate Middleton.

With a packed schedule and three kids under six, the Cambridges have a live-in nanny; the Spanish-born Maria Borrallo.

Meghan and Harry are planning on doing most of the work themselves, an insider told Harper’s Bazaar, but it will be handy to have help when they undertake their royal tour of Africa in October.

The news comes not long after Meghan’s mum Doria returned home to LA after spending time in the UK.

Doria had come over to be with her daughter before she gave birth and stayed got support the couple as they adjusted to parenthood.
