The lovely Holly Willoughby is celebrating her 38th birthday on Sunday.
So, to honour his gorgeous co-host, Philip Schofield planned a big surprise for her today.
During This Morning, the team played Happy Birthday to her at the opening of today’s show, before Philip surprised her.
And what was the surprise?
A BASKET of puppies! We can’t deal. We’d cry too.
“My present to you!” said Philip, as he presented Holly with a basket of Pomeranian puppers.
Naturally, she lost it.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god” she said.
“They’re so cute! Can I pick one up? OMG that’s just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”
“You are just so sweet. She’s so sweet” she said lovingly, and she cuddled one of the puppies.
Phil then said that he checked with Holly’s husband:
“That’s your present. No they are all yours! (laughing) Dan is fine with it!”
She responded, knowing the truth:
“He will not be fine with it. I can’t believe you made me cry over a puppy this is the best thing ever…But then I have to give it back!”
A sad realisation for her, in fairness.
