The most popular book in Ireland has been revealed… and it’s a great read

We read a fair few books throughout 2017 (in between washing clothes, working, making dinner and running after kids), and we have to agree with the winner of the most popular book - it's brilliant. Eason conducted a survey and asked the people of Ireland to vote for their favourite book of last year, and the winner is.... The Gospel According to Blindboy by Blindboy Boatclub. Blindboy is one half of Limerick comedy duo the Rubberbandits and released the book in October. The book centres around "surreal and genre-defying collections of short stories and visual art exploring the myths, complacencies and contradictions at the heart of modern Ireland. "Covering themes ranging from love and death to sex and politics," it's certainly an interesting read.
