Jennifer Lopez is being praised after she gave a rare insight into her life as mum of 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
The singer and actress was speaking with Vogue Mexico, as she unveiled some of the complexities she has run into as a parent.
She said: “You will always adore your children. There is an acceptance they have of you.
“And then as they get older, they start to wonder, ‘Why are we doing this? Why is my mom doing that? Do I have to do it too?'”
Jennifer admitted that this constant questioning is challenging but said she knows it is an integral part of growing up.
Reminiscing on her own teen years, the superstar said: “You probably remember when you were a teenager and you gave your mom a hard time.
“And I don’t think it’s because they’re not good kids. Rather they just want to know, to learn, they want answers.”
