Things began to escalate last week when Sophie sued her ex-husband so he would return their daughters to England after accusing him of refusing to turn over their passports.
She asked a judge to order the "immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained." The couple later agreed that they would keep their children in New York.
The document obtained by the Daily Mail and filed by the Game of Thrones actress' lawyer is "to protect the well-being of the (children) involved" as well as to "prevent the children's further removal or concealment before the final disposition of the petition."

If the order is violated, the agreement states that the court has the right to "take or cause taken measures under Feral or State law, as appropriate."
Sophie and Joe had been married for just over four years after saying "I do" back in 2019. They both mutually announced the end of their relationship on their Instagram accounts.
The statement read: "After four years of marriage we have decided to amicably end our marriage."
