The Kardashian family is one of serious influence, power, and fame and fans are constantly trying to emulate their fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
Four out of five of the famous sisters are mothers, which has seen them share parenting recommendations, tips, and advice along the way.
Kourtney Kardashian is a mum-of-four, having welcomed her youngest child, Rocky, with her husband, Travis Barker, just three months ago.
She also shares Mason, 13, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9, with her ex-partner, Scott Disick.
The mum has shared what she packed inside of her most recent hospital bags, when she gave birth in November.
According to her website, POOSH, she took three bags; one for herself, one for Rocky, and one for extra miscellaneous items.
The items for each bag were put together based on recommendations from her best friends who are mums, allowing them all to brainstorm among themselves.
Kourtney’s Hospital Bag:
- PJs – Matching pyjamas for herself and Travis, including button-up shirts for easy breastfeeding access.
- Toiletry bag – the bag included stretch mark cream, nipple and lip balm, belly oil, and nipple butter.
- Arnica montana – Arnica in homoeopathic preparations has been used to treat mastitis and breast pain. It is also sometimes used to treat postpartum perineal pain.
- Cold packs – To help with healing after a vaginal delivery.
- Socks and Underwear – Two nursing bras, disposable black undies, high-waisted postpartum underwear, cosy socks, and compression socks
- Peri bottle – used to squeeze water on their sore perineum (the area between the vaginal opening and anus) after birth. Peri bottles help cleanse the area and relieve postpartum discomfort.
- Collagen – can benefit recovery and hair.
- Milkmaid tea/ Mother’s Milk Tea – used to help milk production if needed.

Baby’s hospital bag:
- Lovey blanket – (The Kardashian-Jenner grandkids all call Kris Jenner ‘Lovey’)
- Outfit for baby to go home in (Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope, choose Rocky’s home outfit as a surprise)
- Clean wipes
- Clean diapers
- Socks
- Rubber pacifiers
- Car seat installed in advance
- Hats with matching swaddles
- Extra outfits with matching swaddle blankets and hats (Kourtney says she used a seam ripper to remove all tags from Rocky’s clothing items to ensure his optimum comfort).
Miscellaneous hospital bag:
- New digital video camera
- Vintage video camera
- Kourtney’s point-and-shoot camera
- Nursing pillow
- Silk pillowcase
- Cozy throw blanket
- Cord blood kit – Kourtney says “Umbilical cord blood contains tons of stem cells, and those cells are a perfect match for the baby—collecting and storing the blood means it could be used to help treat certain health conditions if they arise”.
- Placenta encapsulation kit – “The placenta is full of nutrients, and ingesting it is thought to help with healing after giving birth. This type of kit helps turn your placenta into pills you can swallow.”
