The lovely Lisa Armstrong has landed a class new job, a few months after being fired from Britain’s Got Talent.
Lisa is set to start as a make-up artist backstage on the The Only Way Is Essex.
The makeup artist will be working alongside names like Gemma Collins and Chloe Sims.
Pretty exciting for her.
A source revealed that Lisa was let go from Britain’s Got Talent due to an obvious clash – he ex husband presents the show.
An insider said at the time that Lisa Armstrong had been sacked to ensure Ant’s return to TV went “smoothly with no unnecessary distractions”.
Harsh, right?
Lisa wasn’t shy about her feelings surrounding the situation, re-tweeting the following from a fan:
“Just saw you have been taken off BGT , I’m sorry to hear this if it’s true Lisa, it seems you are still getting punished for something you had no control over. You are amazing and so good to your followers with advice etc so carry on and sod em!”
Dead right!
Speaking about the new gig with TOWIE, a source said:
“As well as her regular stint doing make-up on Strictly, Towie is another opportunity which she has grabbed with both hands,” they said.
“Everyone was delighted with how it went and they will be using her again lots.”
