Meghan and Harry are officially taking a break from ALL royal duties

It’s certainly well deserved.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly taking a break from all of their royal duties, as well as their public life.

It’s safe to say that the new parents have been dragged through the mud by the press, with everything coming to a head while they were in on a royal tour in Africa.

It was there that they released a statement saying that they are suing various publications for unlawfully publishing a private letter that Meghan wrote.

According to The Sunday Times, Meghan and Harry have now decided to take a six week break, and plan on visiting America with their child, Archie, in the lead up to the festive holidays.

A royal source said: “The duke and duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time.”

A recent clip from an interview with Meghan pulled on our heartstrings when it was released during the week.

When asked how she was doing trying to battle the media, being a newlywed and motherhood, the Duchess replied: “Thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

The clip comes from an upcoming documentary titled Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.
