Meghan Markle is being mum-shamed on Instagram after yesterdays public outing

Rebecca O'Keeffe

It’s happening already…

It was only a matter of time before the trolls came out to shame Meghan Markle and her parenting ways.

And yesterday, what will probably span the next 18 years, began.

Baby Archie Windsor made his first public appearance, in the arms of his mum.

Meghan and Archie went along to a charity polo competition that Prince Harry was taking part in.

The entire Cambridge family were also in attendance, making it a real family day out.

Pictures of the afternoon naturally appeared online, and of course, the trolling began.

People were quick to comment on the way Meghan chose to hold her infant son (none of your business, btw).

“Meghan looks like she’s about to drop him,” commented one Instagram user.

Someone else wrote: “Meghan doesn’t know how to carry her own baby! Such a shame”.

One person also said: “The way little Archie is being held. Scary.”

People also commented on the way Meghan chose to dress her son.

“She should have put a hat and socks on the poor baby!” one comment read.

First of all, she’s a first time mum, less than two months post partum, and very much in the public eye.

Can we all cut her some slack?

Also I think we can all agree that holding a newborn while being photographed at all angles is probably a bit off putting.

Anyway, some people came to Meghan’s defence (thankfully).

One person wrote:

“She could be a natural at home but she’s probably trying to shelter from the cameras and the judgment. I’m guessing no one can see it from that point of view since you are all perfect parents.”

SLAY.

Another person said: “She’s a brand new mother. Stop the damn mom shaming! Jesus.”

Let’s all just agree to leave her at it. No mum is perfect sure, she’s figuring it out.
