Oh dear.
Met Éireann has just issued a status yellow snow-ice warning for Ireland.
It has been reported that scattered sleet and snow showers are forecast, and will be most frequent across Ulster and Connacht.
However the rest of the country may also be affected by the cold weather.
Very cold today, with a mix of bright or sunny spells & scattered showers, some of sleet & snow in the morning, but turning mainly to rain & sleet during the day with a risk of snow mainly over high ground.
