Mrs Brown’s Boys actor Gary Hollywood has announced the birth of his son
Actor Gary Hollywood and his wife Cherylanne have announced the birth of their baby boy Carter.
The couple confirmed their joyous news in an interview with OK!
The Mrs Brown’s Boys actor confirmed that their son is a rainbow baby after Cherylanne sadly suffered a miscarriage in 2023.
They found out the devastating news at their baby’s 12-week scan last year.
Gary and Cherylanne were overjoyed when they discovered she was pregnant again at the beginning of this year.
They told the publication: “When we found out we were pregnant again, it just felt like all our dreams came true.”
Cherylanne added: “I found out we were expecting in February, the weekend after my birthday. Most people want a handbag or something like that as a present; I just wanted a baby.”
The couple said their rainbow baby Carter has made all of their dreams come true.
Their baby boy was born after just 20 minutes of labour and he weighed 7lb 4oz.
The actor and Cherylanne already have a four-year-old son named Ollie.
“I cried at all my children’s births and because this was a rainbow baby, it made it even more special.”
Gary is also a dad to two adult sons, whom he shares with his ex-wife Sharon Mudre.
He is also a dad to 20-year-old son Zach from another previous relationship.
