How very sound of them.
Nando’s are offering Junior and Leaving Cert students free meals on results day as part of their yearly tradition.
No matter how results went for students, as long as they received their grades, they can at least pick up a free starter or ¼ chicken.
All that’s needed of students is to show their results slips at the till and they’re good to go. The promotion will be available all across the country tomorrow, Friday, August 25.
It’s the first year that Junior Cert students will be able to avail of the deal too, so there’ll be plenty of buzz around nationwide Nando’s restaurants on Friday.
Students across the country set to receive their results tomorrow
Tomorrow, Friday, August 25, will be the earliest date of Leaving Cert results since 2019. The results will be available to candidates on the Candidate Self-Service Portal at 10am, as well as also being available in schools.
Over 60,000 students who sat the examinations in June will receive their results.
Normally a time for celebration for many, the HSE released a warning to Leaving Cert students and parents ahead of results night, reminding that celebrations do not have to go hand in hand with alcohol.
“The HSE is advising parents to have a brief, focused conversation about personal safety and alcohol and drug use with young people prior to their exam celebrations.”
