Gypsy Rose Blanchard is set to be released from prison early.
She was serving a 10-year sentence for the death of her mother but has been granted parole.
Gypsy Rose is expected to be released from jail after serving seven years of her 10-year sentence.
She pled guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard in 2015.
She was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2018.
Missouri’s Department of Corrections has confirmed she will be released from prison on December 28th.
Her former partner, Nicholas Godejohn, was sentenced to life in prison following her mother’s murder.
He was found guilty of first-degree murder after stabbing Dee Dee to death in 2015.
Dee Dee both physically and psychologically abused her daughter for years. It is believed Dee Dee had Munchausen by proxy syndrome.

Before her death, Dee Dee claimed her daughter had multiple medical issues including leukemia, muscular dystrophy, as well as asthma.
Her mother was found dead at their home in 2015. Following the discovery of her mother’s body, police arrested Gypsy Rose as well as her boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn.
Earlier this year, Gypsy’s loved ones expressed their concerns ahead of her prison release.
Her friends Fancy Marcelli and Titania Gisclair told In Touch:
“Gypsy has served 80 percent of her sentence. She’s supposed to get out in 2025, but I worry about what’s going to happen to her. She doesn’t want counselling, which the prison offers.”
They also said she doesn’t want any help or support when she is released.
