Prince Harry set up the Invictus Games to support sick and wounded servicemen and has always been extremely passionate about all things to do with the games including speaking to people involved. And when climbing the bridge on Friday, Harry stopped to give all his attention to Gwen, a member of Team Australia, whose husband served in Cambodia, Afghanistan and Iraq, and who took his own life in February this year.
And so, when aides attempted to rush Harry along while in midst conversation with Gwen, he wasn't having it.
Speaking to People, Gwen said: "He stopped and said, 'I’m in the middle of a conversation, and I’m not going to leave this.'"
Continuing Gwen revealed she had an incredible conversation with Harry who was so lovely to speak to.
Harry and Meghan are currently in Figi having touched down there on Tuesday night (their time)."We were talking about my story and mental health and how difficult it is still, in our society, to talk about grief and loss and suicide.
"And how important things like the Invictus Games are to shedding light on, and allowing people to start to have these conversations that are great to have," she said.
So sweet.
