Rihanna fans slam Chris Brown for commenting on her baby news

Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy earlier this month.

Rihanna fans have called out Chris Brown after he commented on the birth of her baby. Yesterday, it was confirmed that the Umbrella singer gave birth to her first child, a baby boy. This is the singer's first child with rapper A$AP Rocky. After the news broke, the singer's ex-partner Chris Brown spoke out about Rihanna becoming a mum. On his Instagram story, Brown wrote "Congratulations" alongside baby bump, prayer hands, and love heart emojis. Fans expressed their disgust over his message on Twitter. One said, "Chris Brown has absolutely no business congratulating our Queen Riri on her baby’s birth."   Another wrote, "When your ex abuser congratulates you, it doesn’t seem so cute." One fan wrote, "Chris Brown subliminally telling Rihanna congratulations on IG is top tier toxicity." Another asked, "Has everyone just completely forgotten that Chris Brown beat Rihanna up?" In February 2009, Rihanna was forced to cancel her Grammy performance because Chris Brown had physically assaulted her. Brown turned himself in to the police and was later charged with assault, as well as making criminal threats. He pleaded guilty to the charges and received five years of probation. He was also ordered to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna unless they were at a public event. This was later reduced to 10 yards. The pair first started dating in 2007 but split after Brown assaulted her. They rekindled their relationship in January 2013 but broke up by May 2013. Rihanna has been in a relationship with A$AP Rocky since 2020. She gave birth to their son on May 13th.
