Met Eireann issued another two status orange weather warnings on Sunday morning – meaning Ireland is in for yet more snow and frost.
And undoubtedly, the likes of icy roads and slippery paths can be a real danger.

Those in the likes of Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Mayo, Roscommon and Tipperary have been treated to a white blanket of snow – with plenty of folk sharing their stunning snaps online.

One man, Tyler Collins, furthermore posted an adorable video of his family, saying the cold conditions “opens up new worlds for me and my wheelchair-bound daughter”.

His young daughter has spina bifida, and Tyler furthermore commented that the little one was in “her absolute element” in the snow.

Meanwhile, even if you haven’t been hit by wintry showers just yet – Met Eireann says that further snow will arrive in Ireland at 3pm and 6pm on Sunday.

Met Eireann warned that Sunday will be a “mostly clear night with severe frost, ice and lying snow leading to very hazardous conditions on roads and footpaths”.
Temperature will also fall to a brutal minus 8C, with the coldest conditions in the midlands.
