The surprising artist offering to perform at Harry and Meghan’s wedding

Her Majesty isn't known to be a fan of grime.

Looks like Meghan won't get any of Harry's money when they marry

Now, this is unexpected.

In the few days since the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement, nearly every aspect of their upcoming wedding has been discussed.

From the venue to who the bride-to-be might ask to be in her bridal party, it’s all up for debate.

However, one thing that has yet to be discussed is who will perform at the after-party?

Prince Harry's awkward hand gesture

Back in 2011, William and Kate held their night-time celebrations in Buckingham Palace dancing along to the musical stylings of Ellie Goulding.

The singer even performed a version of Your Song for the pair for their first dance.

However, if Harry and Meghan are to take this artist up on his offer, it will be a very different affair altogether.

Stormzy has thrown his hat in the ring in the hopes of performing at the royal wedding in May.

The grime artist scooped three awards at last night’s Mobo Awards and says that he’d be thrilled to perform for the royal couple.

When asked what he might perform on the big day, Stormzy said he wouldn’t mind doing “a little acoustic for young Harry”.

However, despite Stormzy and Harry having worked together on the WellChild Awards earlier this year, the artist isn’t sure if he’ll even get an invite.

“I don’t know how up the priority list I’ll be,” he said, “but hopefully after these three Mobos I’ll f**king move up a bit”.

However, Stormzy could face some competition for a spot on the royal wedding line-up as Sam Smith has also said he’d love to perform.

“I’m obsessed! I want to sing at the wedding. Oh my God, I’d love to, it would be a dream.”
