There’s nothing like a kid at a wedding or any social gathering for that matter – in my experience the addition of a kid or two even greatly improves a funeral.
They just bring an added sense of mayhem and unpredictability that will ALWAYS lighten the mood.
Take this little guy charged with acting as ring bearer for a wedding. He looks a little uncertain and unfocused as he stumbles down the aisle (much like some of the adult attendees will be stumbling in a couple of hours time no doubt). But then he spies the alter and it all comes back to him. “Oh yeah, I just need to fling it at the alter…”. Job done.
