Toy Show star Stevie Mulrooney has gone viral after the match
There was one standout person at Sunday’s rugby match and he isn’t a member of the Ireland squad. Toy Show star Stevie Mulrooney couldn’t believe his luck when he met rugby players Peter O’Mahony and Bundee Aki at last year’s Toy Show, but things got even better for the youngster this weekend.
He had the chance to perform ‘Ireland’s Call’ at the Aviva on Sunday and he has gone viral after the performance.
He is even being praised by none other than Andy Farrell, who said Stevie was a real star.
Farrell told RTÉ: “He was waving to the crowd, stood there on his own. I thought: ‘this kid’s got it all’. He was amazing. He nailed it, didn’t he? It was a great start.”
Viewers praised little Stevie for being so brave and singing in front of such a huge crowd.
“We need this lad singing it at every home match,” one said.
Another wrote: “This young lad is amazing. We love him and his level of talent is incredible.
“Stevie, fantastic and passionate singer. Well done. You did yourself, your family, and Ireland very proud.”
Can we get Stevie to enter Eurovision next year?
