"We are devastated by his death."
Tributes have been pouring in for 5-year-old Freddie Farrow, who tragically died in a UK department store last month.
Freddie Farrow was struck in the head by a mirror during a shopping trip to Fenwick on Colchester’s High Street. The young boy was
rushed to hospital in critical condition on July 27.
Doctors did everything they could, but his injuries were too severe and Freddie sadly passed away on August 2.
Coroners confirmed he died from a traumatic brain injury.
His family released a statement via
Essex Police.
His mum Natasha said he was a kind boy who picked flowers every day.
She said he would hand them to her "and tell me he loved me, and I would tell him I loved him back."
"He will be with us every single day throughout all our lives - until we see him again. As a family, we are devastated by his death."

“He was such a lovely little boy – and very cheeky in a lot of ways. Everyone who knew Freddie just loved him – he was that kind of boy."
His father added, "Freddie was an expert Lego builder, confident swimmer, enjoyed crabbing and park running. He had such a contagious laugh and always pulled funny faces."
“Freddie, his brother and sister were inseparable and I know for sure he will be watching over them," he shared.
"I will miss you Fredboy, so, so much... and until we meet again, I love you," the heartbroken dad added.
Polly Bradford of Gosbecks Primary School said Freddie was a "little star."
“Freddie was a credit to his family and his kindness and thoughtfulness will be sorely missed by his teachers and friends.
