Una Healy is happy for her ex-husband Ben Foden after he welcomed his latest addition
The former England rugby star and his wife Jackie welcomed their second child together, a baby girl.
The pair revealed this week that their daughter Olympia was born on the 9th of January.
They are also parents to three-year-old daughter Farrah, whom they welcomed together in 2021, while Ben also shares custody of Aoife (11) and Tadhg (8) with his ex-wife.
Speaking to Ok! Magazine about expanding his family, Ben revealed that Una is “really happy,” for him and Jackie.
“She’s really happy for us welcoming another baby into the family. We’ve been co-parenting for the last five years and I think we’re pretty good at it now,” he said.
“Me having another baby won’t change anything and I appreciate how much she takes the reins with Aoife and Tadhg.
“For us, it’s all about communication and I think she also appreciates the reprieve we give her when the kids visit for a few weeks during the summer and at Christmas.”
The new father also revealed that his two oldest children have yet to meet their little sister but are hoping to visit over the summer.
“We’ve FaceTimed and called a couple of times though,” he explained before adding: “I’m also going back to England for the England V Ireland rugby game, which will be around when Aoife’s birthday is.
“So, I’ll see them then again but in terms of them meeting Pia, it’ll be summer.”
Jackie then opened up about her “uncomfortable” pregnancy adding that she was happy to welcome her baby girl into the world.
“Olympia felt like a huge baby. I could barely move towards the end, so I was happy to have her out,” she said.
Jackie said she was limping because of an inflamed tendon in her hip. She was also incredibly itching during the night during her pregnancy.
The couple suffered multiple miscarriages before welcoming their baby girl into the world.
“We started trying to get pregnant around August 2022, then tried again in November, then March 2023, and then April 2023 with Olympia.”
