We could be much closer to finding out the royal baby name as bookies slash odds on certain ones

They’re way more traditional than we would have thought!

When it comes to royal traditions, Meghan Markle has disregarded plenty of them. With the royal baby due in spring 2019, we’re all waiting on tenterhooks to see what he or she will be named.

As we’ve mentioned before, apparently, those in direct succession to the throne are expected to follow a certain protocol such as choosing names of royal ancestors for their children.

This was the case with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge naming their first child George but there isn’t as much pressure on Harry and Meghan to do the same.

Traditional names, steeped in history are often selected and it is proper that the Queen is told first before waiting a few days to announce the name to the public.

According to Ok! we could be a lot closer to sussing the royal baby name as bookies have slashed odds on certain names:

“Bookmakers Coral revealed that Victoria is now the most popular name on the table, with odds being slashed down to 8-1”, the publication states.

“Meanwhile, Albert and Phillip are also strong contenders at 10-1, while touchingly Diana – after Price Harry’s late mother – has the same odds” Ok! stated.

We think Diana would be such a lovely tribute to Harry’s late mum if the couple were to have a girl. Lads, the suspense is killing us!
