Woman Dies After Getting Arm Stuck In Charity Recycling Bin For Six Hours

56-year-old Judith Permar was reaching into a charity clothes collection bin at 2 amĀ on Sunday when the tragedy happened.

The step-ladder she was using to stretch to reach the opening collapsed beneath her and left her dangling by the arm.

Her post-mortem examination revealed that her left arm and wrist were broken and she was trapped for more than six hours before succumbing to hypothermia.

The Dail Mail reports that her car was parked nearby with the engine still running when she was found at 8 am.

Permar, who was from Pennsylvania, was married with four children and four grandchildren.

Her daughter Angela wrote on social media:

‘On Sunday morning my Mother passed away. It was very sudden and our family will learn to cope with the loss of such an amazing Wife, Mother, Sister, and Friend.Ā She was such a fun loving person and we know it would mean the world to her to say “See you Again.”
