The shocking attack comes after two women in Kilkenny and Cork were also attacked.

A man attacked a 17-year-old girl when she was out exercising in Kilkenny. Gardaí are now investigating the "alleged abduction". The young girl was treated for shock, as well as minor injuries.

Another woman was attacked by a random person in Cork city.
