Musings: All I want for Christmas is a perfume version of New Baby Smell

Dior and Chanel are really missing the mark here.

Don't get me wrong, I love my kids just the way that they are, but there is one thing I wish they still had from when they were little. That new baby smell. You hear people talk about it, but it's not until you get a whiff of it yourself that you can really comprehend how magical it is. That is why I'm putting it to all of the perfume companies to finally give us the scent we actually want this Christmas. Eau de New Baby Smell. In all seriousness though, Chanel, Dior, Prada, Armani, do you not realise how much money you could be making? Women's ovaries literally explode when we get a sniff of this stuff, it's addictive. We would be buying it by the gallon and throwing it over ourselves seven days a week. You're honestly putting yourself greatly out of pocket by not making New Baby Smell a scent. It would be a bestseller knocking all of the other perfumes out of the running. Black Opium who? It's all about New Baby Smell now. Now, I'm not really sure how exactly you would capture this magic in a bottle but where there's a will there's a way, and I'm willing you to make a way. It's the only thing I truly want from my Santa list this year and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So please perfume companies, do us all a solid favour this festive season and make us the fragrance that we actually want. Make us a New Baby Smell perfume, cologne, baby spray, whatever. Just make it happen, please! Sincerely, everyone that has gotten a whiff of a newborn.
